VEEDERSBURG — Bill B. Cox, Sr., 75, Veedersburg, died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, April 28, 2002 at his residence. He was born March 27, 1927 in Parke County, the son of Claud E. and Sylvia Martin Cox. He married Nina D. Drollinger Sept. 14, 1951 in Covington. She survives. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and worked as a carpenter. Survivors, besides the wife, include: two sons, Gary (Susie) Cox and Chris (Sherry) Cox, both of Veedersburg; a daughter, Darlene M. Kyger, Veedersburg; three brothers, Darwin Cox, Veedersburg, Verne Cox, Mesa, Ariz. and Verlin Cox, Omaha, Neb.; four sisters, Ronna Lea Sandlin, Mellott, Rae Ann Morgan and Wreatha McClure, both of Veedersburg and Beverly English, Wilsonville, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, five brothers and two sons. Gravesite services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cold Springs Cemetery, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Greg McDonald officiating. Friends may call from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Thursday in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg. – jlr
